"Don't you just love New York in the fall? Makes me want to go out and buy school supplies."
Oh! I love this, Mo! I must re-create it in my own office/studio!! I have always kept my colored pencils tucked away in a box - or in a hold point down (some little voice from childhood tells me to do that) but point out is fabulously artistic - it says fireworks of inspiration to me and I must find a corner to do this! I'll note your idea when I post my photos on my new office/studio space!Joy!Miss Kathy
Glad it inspired you! I wanted to go to the store and buy several packs of brand new pencils to make the bouquet. But, "Use What You Have," sang out its theme song. I looked around and discovered that adding colored pencils would be much more interesting. Thanks to our artist daughter we have lots of tiny ones, and the kids have a jar of tiny used pencils they've created - competing to see who can get the shortest pencil. It was fun to pull all those out and put them together into the bouquet!
Beautiful bit of art you've created - love it!
