I haven't heard it in a long time either. It was like going back in time to some of those earlier church worship times - good memories! And a good reminder.
A most favorite song of mine. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I am drinking up from the wells of gratitude, priming the pump and this stop in my journey is and always is, a grace-filled stop.
Yes, with a grateful heart! At first it seemed redundant, but really, it helps me give thanks with a heart of joy, not just like the kid that has to be reminded, "Say thank you."
Maureen, this was wonderful. A surprise to have it come from you, b/c usually it's just a photo and the Word. But seeing the wonderful "gifts" of God on this made me rejoice in my heart.
Giving thanks is life changing!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. I need the reminders, unfortunately, but I am learning to give thanks with a grateful heart, much more consistently.
DeleteI love that song! Haven't heard it in awhile. God bless you and have a blessed Thanksgiving Day.
